Job Description

As a Scheduler, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring that all project milestones are met. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and procurement staff, and occasionally travel to construction sites to meet with staff and review project progress.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain project schedules using P6 and Microsoft Project.
Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and procurement teams to ensure project timelines are met.
Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions to review project status.
Communicate effectively with construction staff and stakeholders.
Travel periodically to construction sites for meetings and project reviews.
Understand and manage the contract-to-hire process.
Balance multiple projects simultaneously.
Ensure all scheduling activities are aligned with project goals and timelines.

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in scheduling or related roles.
Strong communication skills.
Expertise in P6 and general understanding of Microsoft Project.
General understanding of US construction practices.
Ability to work in the US long term.
Openness to periodic travel to construction sites.
Desire to work as a scheduler for at least one to two years.
Experience working for an electrical equipment installation EPC contractor, electrical contractor, or any discipline contractor within the US.
Experience with technical firms performing electrical construction oversight or as an owners scheduling representative in the power industry within the US.
