Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Mid-Level Technical SQL Analyst to join a growing team of one of our manufacturing clients. This person will be in a verstile role dividing up time between SQL development and Database Administration. This person will primarily be working with SQL Server and utilizing your understanding of SQL Programming and SQL Server Studio. We are looking for an individual with an innovative mindset to bring development and data analytics to the next level. Hands-on tasks will include engagement in monitoring, indexing, backups, performance tuning and ensuring up-to-date coding and security practices.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience with SQL Server development
Understanding of SQL programming knowing their way around SQL Server Studio
Having knowledge of montioring, indexing, looking at backups, SQL Server management, finding performance issues and problem solving in SQL Server
Using proper practices for coding including security measures, documentation and organiziation
Experience with creating basic code from scratch
Understanding of data anayltics

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

.NET/C# development experience
Database design experience
