Job Description

A client in Charlotte, NC is looking for a Scrum Master to join their team. The Scrum Master would be working on the clients Fuel and Real Estate Projects within their Data Engineering and Business Intelligence group. Responsibilities are shown below:

Facilitate the Scrum process and coach the team on Agile methodologies.
Guide the team to improve their productivity and ensure that they are meeting their goals Work with the product owners to prioritize the product backlog and ensure that the team is working on the highest value items first.
Ensure that the team is following the Scrum framework and Data engineering & BI Management practices.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and identify areas where the team can improve their processes and practices.
Work closely with the stakeholders to ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget.
Facilitate team meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Remove any impediments that are blocking the team from making progress.
Ensure that the team is maintaining transparency and visibility into their work.

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean) and Agile scaling frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS)
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Strong leadership skills and the ability to guide the team towards their goals Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to identify and remove any impediments that are blocking the team from making progress.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and drive change within processes and workflows
Experience with Agile collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working in a retail environment
Experience supporting the data engineering or business intelligence group
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification
Experience with marketing automation platforms
