A large software and gaming company is looking for a Remote (EST) Cinematic Video Editor to join a growing team. This role will work with cinematic directors and producers to create film-quality video content
and must have editorial experience with storyboards, navigating and assembling previz footage, creating content cuts for internal review and finalizing frames. From quickly editing animatics to communicate a director's vision, to exporting the final picture, this individual will operate with a high level of responsibility to produce with a team next-level
cinematic videos.

At least 5 years of professional editing Animated Shorts and/or Video Game Cinematics
An expert in Adobe Premiere and technical working knowledge of other Adobe Creative Suite offerings, such as After Effects and Media Encoder
Can craft stories using editing to help sell tone, pacing, mood and other narrative elements for short-form animated pieces
Be able to assemble animatic footage and weave placeholder elements such as temp SFX, music, pre-vis elements, storyboards and more to visualize the early vision for key stakeholders
Knowledge of post-production workflows and ability to work with post production personnel to deliver final content for versioning
Must be a team player willing to work with a vast collection of personalities at range of experience levels
Passion for gaming and understands domain
Excellent communication, both verbal and in written formats
Comfortable working under tight deadlines while never compromising quality and vision
