A company is looking for a Designer to join the Duke Energy Lighting team. This engineer will aide and partner with Duke Energy in the upgrades of a major energy providers lighting grids. This role will be owning their own field work and will ultimately be in charge of speaking with developers, hoa's, and sometimes residents to find out exactly what is needed to be added or renovated in the given area. Once the Designer has all of the information they will take it back to the office and work with team members for an estimation. This person will be responsible for the communication with said clients to coordinate the work packages desired.
- Scheduling and developing construction plans for the project work
- Creating work packages, construction plans, bill material and will be in charge of the scope of work schedule.
- Travel to job site to collect necessary documentation and supplementary data (notes, photos, measurements, etc.)

Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Engineering field from ABET accredited University or Interior Design Degree
1-5 years' experience in engineering design role or working on design projects/internships with autocad
Autocad, or Microstation, and Microsoft Office
Solid personality with good communication and interpersonal skills
