Enpro is currently seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to join our corporate Information Security Team based in Charlotte, NC. The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring and securing the IT and OT network environments for Enpro and its subsidiaries globally. The candidate will leverage a combination of network security tools and technologies, with an emphasis on Palo Alto hardware and software. The candidate will be tasked with architecture, design, implementation and maintenance of hardware and software-based network security monitoring and protection platforms to strengthen our global organizations security posture. The candidate will partner with IT teams across businesses to drive and support the adoption of Enpro network security standards and architecture principles. The candidate will serve as a member of the Security Operations Team and be a key resource in support of Enpros Incident Response process.

- 6+ years of experience configuring, designing, and troubleshooting Palo Alto hardware and software applications
- Experience securing hybrid and public cloud networking environments (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Advanced experience supporting network security infrastructure (firewalls / IDS / IPS, proxies)
- Advanced understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals
- Experience configuring, designing, and troubleshooting modern LAN/WAN technologies is a plus
- Experience supporting security log monitoring
- Solid understanding of cloud security risks
- Knowledge of common cybersecurity attack patterns
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience collaborating with team members globally
- Industry certifications (PCNSE, PCCSE, CCNA, CCNP Sec, CISSP, GCIH, etc.)
- Enterprise project management experience
- Network and Security architecture experience
- Exposure to industry cybersecurity frameworks (ATT&CK, NIST CSF, Cyber Kill Chain, etc.)
- Experiencing supporting industry and regulatory compliance frameworks such as PCI, ISO, DFARS, ITAR, NIST, and Sarbanes-Oxley
