* An employer is looking for a Controls Engineer to support a USPS demolition effort at the Networking Distribution Center in Greensboro, NC. The Controls Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the removal of existing mechanization, including command and control systems, power wiring, communication systems, and other cables. This person needs to be comfortable leading and working with electricians in order to trace out wires, cables, and conduits. They will also coordinate with the millwrights who will be conducting the physical equipment removal. This position requires someone who can work minimum of 40 hours a week and is available for the duration of the project, which is expected to go through the fall of 2024.

Bachelors degree in Engineering or relevant study (Associates is also acceptable)
3+ years of experience as an Industrial Controls Engineer
3+ years of experience writing and modification of PLC code in ladder logic using Rockwell Software (RS Logix 5, RS Logix 500, and Studio Logix 5000)
Experience in controls communication networking such as DH-485, DH+, and Ethernet communications.
Overall general conveyor and material handling experience
Must be comfortable working 40-50 hours per week
