Payroll Specialist

Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for Payroll Specialists to join a large food services client in Charlotte, NC. This role is similar to working in a call center with heavy inbound calls. Associates can expect 80+ calls daily. These resources are needed to help with the upcoming W2 season.
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls according to established procedures and performance standards.
Create work orders and capture structured data for each issue to provide audit trails and statistical analysis.
Ability to understand and follow documented departmental processes.
Ability to understand questions/issues presented by the field managers; direct field managers to MyRequests; escalate information to others.
Follow established payroll guidelines.
Ability to learn and understand Compass Payroll applications (SAP, MyCPM, MySTAFF, MyRequests and other applications as assigned) to adequately support the workload.
Process and respond to emails according to standard procedures.
Process off-cycle checks according to standard procedures.
Perform other team-specific tasks as assigned.

Must Haves:
Call Center experience
Payroll knowledge (specifically W2 experience)
Strong communication skills

Nice to Haves:
Bachelors degree
Payroll processing knowledge
SAP experience
