Insight Global is looking for a Civil Engineers for one of our small civil engineering firms in the Charlotte, NC area. This individual must be a great communicator and have interpersonal skills, as they will be working in a collaborative environment. They must be a self-starter. They will be working with other civil engineers and partners on a day-to-day basis. This individual will need to have Civil3D/AutoCAD/AutoDesk experience, as around 70% of the job will be designing and drafting in these software's. Other responsibilities include: coordinating and marking site plans, collaborating with surveyors and architects, talking to compliance, and managing/planning projects quickly. This person is preferred to have experience with site or land development -- and must be able to travel to project sites during the day.
- Bachelor's or Associates degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Experience in civil designing, civil engineering, or project engineering in the site/land development side
- Great communication / customer service skills
- Detail Oriented
- AutoCAD or Civil3D or AutoDesk experience (70% of job will be designing)
