Job Description

* You are going to be coordinating between different departments including patient advocacy and clinical operations team to ensure patient facing materials are up to date.

* Work closely with portfolio and project management as well as the finance team to ensure accurate forecasting and accruals

* Help coordinate between medical affairs and finance team to ensure budgeting and spending is accurate.

* Documenting information and ensure all approved and supporting materials are uploaded on SharePoint

Supporting VP of global medical affairs to help identify and maintain relevant SOP's for medical affairs



* BA or BSc degree in life sciences or healthcare required. Advanced professional degrees, including MSc, MD, PhD, PharmD, DVM, preferred but not required.

* 1-2 years' Biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience in a medical affairs or clinical operation roles

* Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple projects; ability to multitask and work both independently and with cross-functional teams.

* An independently motivated working style with good problem-solving skills, allowing analysis, synthesis, and compilation of data from a broad range of disciplines.

* Strong interpersonal skills for effective professional communications with internal and external stakeholders

* Excellent presentation and computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Ability to travel to meetings / conferences up to 5% of the time post-pandemic.

Required Skills & Experience

· Work with the (Sr) Director Medical affairs and Therapeutic Area Lead(s) and (Sr) Director Patient Advocacy to coordinate the Medical Affairs planning strategic documents, such as the Medical Affairs Plan of Action (POA), Patient Advocacy Plan, Global Congress Plan, and program specific Publication Plan

· Act as the coordinator of the Material Review Board (MRB) and support the Medical, Regulatory affairs, Legal/IP and Corporate communication review of all internal and external communications. Receives MRB forms and applicable materials. Assigns the appropriate MRB Committee, either CRC, MRC, or Disclosure Committee, to review submitted Material based on the material type; Put together the MRB live review agenda and coordinate required MRB review meetings. Ensure that all approved and supporting materials are uploaded on Sharepoint

· Collaborate with the Patient Advocacy and Clinical Operation teams to ensure that patient facing materials are up to date and available for use.

· Support the Medical Affairs planning and budgeting process, including contracting and processing of SOWs and agreements, Malbek contract requests and renewals, Coupa purchase order requests and updates. Work closely with Portfolio and Project Management and Finance to ensure appropriate monthly forecasting and accruals.

· Support the (Sr) Director Medical affairs and (Sr) Director patient advocacy in the preparation of Medical and patient adboards. Ensure appropriate post meeting documentations.

· Support collaboration plans, and operational engagement that may include but are not limited to educational programs, disease awareness initiatives, advisory boards, patient speaker engagement, and clinical trial awareness.

· Support the medical Co-chair of the AskBio Contribution team in the review, evaluation, approval, or denial of external funding requests.

· As required support the medical and patient advocacy teams at medical and scientific congresses with meeting logistics (including booth coordination) and appropriate relationship engagement.

· Ensure all publication and related communication activities follow AskBio medical communication and publication policies/SOPs and provide internal training on publication best practices.

· Work with VP Global Medical Affairs to identify and maintain relevant SOPs for Medical Affairs
