Telecom Project Supervisor

Insight Global is looking for a Telecommunications Project Supervisor for a Fortune 500 heavy-equipment rental company to sit hybrid in Charlotte, NC. This Telecom Project Supervisor will provide leadership to a team of two project analysts and manage high-level telecom projects involving acquisitions, major rollouts, and system upgrades to the network and telecom infrastructure of 1500+ branch locations. On a day-to-day basis, this Telecom Project Supervisor will spend their time developing and implementing consistent and repeatable procedures to ensure project success, communicating with other IT groups to manage resource utilization and capacity, performing regular reviews of project status, and updating project plans and deadlines as needed. They will also integrate with business project managers in organizing the comprehensive IT considerations for high visibility projects like acquisitions, manage risks and budgets, develop project scope, objectives, and plans while ensuring complete documentation at every stage of the project. Additionally, this Supervisor will ensure accuracy of billings from various suppliers, oversee renewals, reviews, and audits of vendor contracts and services, participate in budget vs. actuals analysis, and approve and allocate network and telecom invoices in a timely manner.

* At least 5 years IT project management experience with at least 3 of those years focusing on enterprise telecommunications

* At least 1 year of team leadership experience

* Strong background in managing project financials including budgeting, vendor contracts, and basic accounting principles

* Broad understanding of a variety of telecommunications technologies

* Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) or CompTIA Project+ Certification

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

* ITILv4 Foundation Certification
