Job Description

Insight Global is hiring an IT professional to support their helpdesk team on a contract basis. Candidates can expect to support all computer hardware, network infrastructure, and the overall function of plant operating environment.



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Must be detail oriented and have the following abilities. Ability to work independently with little to no direction and work as a larger team on projects. Ability to prioritize work, multi-task, and adapt to changing priorities. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Must be able to utilize all resources and ask for help when needed. Ability to work virtually with team members in off-site locations.



PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:



* Installing software on computers, including operating systems, applications software, security software, and other programs

* Diagnosing and troubleshooting computer problems by testing hardware components and software applications

* Collaborate with end users to troubleshoot PC and networking issues

* Install hardware and software to end users' equipment while following company policies and procedures

* Collaborate with human resources to train new hires on proper use of computer equipment, software, and corporate MIS policies

* Respond to and resolve user support tickets and ensure issues have been resolved

* Deploy devices including mobile phones, tablets, laptops, desktops, lab equipment, printers, etc.

* Track and maintain PC inventory while ensuring assigned equipment matches the inventory

* Support user needs related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, VOIP phones and the like for both in office and for remote office needs

Required Skills & Experience

1+ years of helpdesk support experience at the tier 1& tier 2 levels

Excellent customer service skills

Experience with Servicedesk or similar software

Experience in a Windows environment

Exposure to Active Directory or similar software

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Compti A+, Security +, ITIL foundations
