Insight Global is seeking two fully remote NOC Technicians for a large telecommunications client based in Charlotte, NC. This resource will be joining the Network Management team and work to help develop the processes, procedures, and systems of the Network Operations Center. This work will involve a large amount of communication between IT and other teams. After this work is complete, which could take up to a year, the day-to-day operations will shift to migrating networks that are currently owned by the parent company, shifting said networks to in-house technologies, and resolving tickets. This resource must have 5+ years of experience in a true NOC environment, some of which has been working for a telecommunications company. Hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper and other IP tools, as well as Ethernet platforms at a Layer 2 level, are also required. Any experience with developing and building out a NOC environment from scratch is a must-have. These resources will work a standard M-F 8-5 schedule and can sit fully remote but must work EST hours.
