Insight Global is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for a large financial client based out of Charlotte, NC. This individual will be joining the Cloud Production Engineering Team. This team is responsible for customization around monitoring and automation for production teams. They also monitor critical applications and services to minimize downtime and ensure their availability. The SRE will be contributing to multiple projects and applications focused on AWS and automation. This candidate should be familiar with developing scripting automation in an AWS space. The ideal candidate will have experience in operations and can handle working in a production-based environment.
* 5+ years of experience as a SRE Engineer / Devops Engineer with production support
* 5+ years' experience with AWS services (ASG, Fargate, Lambda, Aurora DB, Dynamo DB, ALB/NLB)
* 5+ years' working experience with CI/CD pipelines and developing infrastructure-as-code (Gitlab, Terraform, Ansible, etc.) - write terraform cord
* Working experience with designing Observability for enterprise applications
* Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and network protocols
* Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture
* Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, or bash
* Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (DynaTrace, Cloudwatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
* Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and principles
Certifications in AWS
