Job Description
A client of Insight Global is hiring for a Lead ERP Architect to join their team. This person will act as the Senior Team Lead and Architect for the Ellucian Banner ERP system, but will also engage with other enterprise platforms such as Mricosoft Azure and ServiceNow. They will be responsible for the acquisition and maintenance of software systems; in-depth systems and technical business analysis; systems and applications design, application integration; programming, testing and implemention; documentaion, business process modeling, database administration, and data management.
Responsibilities:
* Perform ERP systems and software development, support, and design
* Serve as lead ERP architect and senior member of the ERP module lead group
* Act as technical lead for strategic projects related to Ellucian Banner
* Manage GIT repositories related to the ERP environment
* Establish or improve coding standards, and review code from developers to ensure compliance
* Lead roadmap development and maintenance
* Assist with release management responsibilities, and work to improve and automate the process of deploying code into target environments.
* Collaborate closely with other IT teams, including but not limited to IT Business Architects & Analysts, Enterprise Infrastructure, Systems Engineering, Enterprise Data Governance & Reporting, and IT Security to ensure ERP systems are effectively and efficiently designed, hosted, monitored, and managed.
Required Skills & Experience
* 10+ years of experience including architecture design and software development
* 3+ years of experience leading build out, integration, and implementation of Ellucian Banner ERP
* Experience with Java
* Ability to analyze and effectively interpret technical requirements
* Experience with Oracle SQL, PL SQL preferred
* Experience working with Git source code management
* Ability to collaborate and coordinate across multiple teams with different functions
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Experience in a higher education setting utilizing Ellucian Banner
* Experience with Java Script/jQuery
* Experience with Web Services and JSON
* Experience with XML and HTML
