* As part of the Transaction Management function within the Funding Execution team, the Transaction Specialist will support Global Markets Structured Notes and Treasury Long-Term Debt funding and governance activities for Treasury. The Transaction Management function is responsible for ensuring that the necessary governance, legal and operational framework is in place for each transaction issued under this company and other issuing entities, globally. The Transaction Specialist role provides excellent exposure to the Global Funding (GF) market-facing desks and key Treasury business partners including Global Markets Structured Note sales desks, Global Markets Central Funding Desk, External Counsels, Operations, Finance, Tax, Risk, and Compliance.
o Specific duties may include but are not limited to:
Booking new issuance details in Treasury's long term debt reporting system (BASIS)
Reviewing and approving economic terms of proposed structured note issuances
Monitoring the team's mailboxes to respond promptly to requests to approve transactions or transaction-related documentation
Preparing or coordinating documentation in connection with various GF activities (e.g. issuer call notices, signatures for issuance, etc.)
Preparing analysis on structured note portfolio as required for funding analysis
Actively participate in Operational Excellence initiatives focused on simplifying, streamlining, and automating processes
Completing ad-hoc projects as requested
