Cyber Security Implementation Lead

Insight Global is hiring a full-time Cyber Security Implementation Lead for a client in Charlotte, NC. As a Cyber Security Lead, you will be responsible for partnering with IT leadership to standardize cyber security practices with adherence to NIST protocol and both advise and drive the implementation of cyber security tools and technologies, as well as overseeing the maintenance of Information Security policies procedures, standards and technical security baselines within the IT organization. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years' experience in cyber security with experience implementing NIST protocol and best practices within and IT organization, and possess architect level knowledge of security concepts.

7-10 years overall experience in Cyber Security

Experience implementing NIST protocol/best practices into IT teams

In-depth knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL, COBIT, SANS, Forrester, and NIST

CRISC or equivalent certifications preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to regularly collaborate and present to executive level leadership and confident in advising on strategic initiatives

Understanding of security by design principles and architecture-level security concepts

Understanding of maturity and governance frameworks

Experience with SOX compliance
