Job Description

The Treasury COO & Governance team designs, communicates, and supports the strategic direction of Treasury, drives/coordinates enterprise initiatives and special projects. The Treasury COO & Governance Business Support Manager is responsible for process strategy design and implementation, setting cross-Treasury management routines, and all other operational efforts. This person will also be responsible for getting communications together for different lines of business to share with the Treasurer. They will also be aiding in the efforts of writing newsletters (some monthly, some quarterly), planning social events/holidays for the team, and gathering information regarding recognition for specific employees within this line of business.

Responsibilities:

o Manages multiple project work streams with various timelines, building out and executing strategy for engaging with business managers, process owners and the broader Treasury team

o Assist with space management, onboarding materials and team communications

o Continually evaluates work objectives against Treasury business objectives; ability to be nimble and make changes as business priorities shift

o Responsible for planning and executing training programs for the line of business.

o Handle all preparations for programs which include: hotel contract, business agenda logistics, air travel, ground transportation and food & beverage.

o Assist with scheduling the annual training calendar which includes researching hotel space and negotiating contracts for all programs and developing preliminary program budgets based on each location.

o Responsible for yearly/quarterly award nomination process.

o Significant interaction with senior management while creating business agendas for the groups.

o Manage end-to-end logistics for department events with external and community partners, such as; employee engagement events and recruitment/talent management activities

o Planning: coordinate and execute a variety of meetings and events simultaneously; consistently follow through on project deliverables and client follow-up.

o People skills: outstanding relationship-building skills; strong listening skills and adept ability to determine individual and organizational needs/concerns.

o Client relations: establish and maintain long-term client relationships through a high level of integrity; set priorities and earn client trust, focus on strong customer service and outstanding communication skills.

o Problem resolution: challenged daily to identify, analyze and implement appropriate solutions to problems and inquiries from clients, peers, and management while keeping organizational needs a top priority.

Required Skills & Experience

* 3+ years of experience working within event coordination/communications/social events/newsletter coordination

* Bachelor's Degree

* Strong project management, presentation and organization skills with ability to coordinate partners across multiple organizations to deliver well-controlled, sustainable processes

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Experience running enterprise transformation projects

* Experience in Finance and Treasury functions

* Understanding of Treasury and Finance concepts and regulations

* Experience in a COO role or supporting a Senior Executive
