An employer is seeking a Data Analyst for a large automotive client sitting fully remote. This person will be handling all the analytics to help improve marketing performance across all client brands. We are looking for someone who has experience in utilizing information to solve business problems and can turn challenges into opportunities which result in improved operating metrics, profits, marketing productivity and customer productivity. This person should have a strong business and data analytic background. Other responsibilities include:
- Perform data analyses and post campaign evaluations to derive campaign performance and customer insights
- Derive actionable insights from customer behavior based on campaign results and analysis, both from individual campaigns and aggregated review of communication results behavior.
- Generate recommendations for campaign optimizations based on analytical findings and forecast campaign results based on historical campaign performance.
- Develop customer insights by utilizing data to understand customer buying behavior and provide direction as to potential opportunities in marketing.
- Synthesize existing business intelligence reports and current trend data to support recommendations of action.
- Demonstrate strong business and analytical acumen when reviewing data for inconsistencies or anomalies that could skew analytical results.
- Leverage expert SQL programming skills to run extensive customer transaction data queries across large volumes of data, multiple data extensions, and campaign history.
- Develop and implement weekly reporting for the enterprise on customer segment performance, trends, and key behavior drivers.
- Perform data flow and process audit between data late, marketing automation and BI platform. Validate existing reports and work with BI team on fixes and enhancements
- 3+ years of solid experience related to consumer databases and exposure to data-driven marketing programs
- Experience with customer insights
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) experience
- Experience in multi-channel retail industry
- Knowledge of overall Direct Marketing and experience analyzing customer, marketing data
