QA Engineer:
Leads and/or participates in the design development and implementation of complex system engineering activities involving cross-functional technical support systems programming and data center capabilities. Responsible for components of highly complex engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities. Establishes input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility coordination of subsystems design and integration of total system. Viewed as a technology subject matter expert able to provide and communicate complex technology solutions across differing audiences including technical managerial business executives and/or vendors. Will have responsibility for multiple complex projects will direct activities of teams related to special initiatives or operations and may have direct reports. Leads the resolution process for complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results. Information Technology degree and/or technology certifications preferred or substantial equivalent experience. Typically 7 years of IT experience.
Job Description:

  • Testing skills required over Database UI
  • Test new and existing features debug code units and integration and report errors and failures
  • Work collaboratively with the developing team other team members and departments to correct errors and participate in testing for product releases
  • Gathering requirements analyzing users stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
  • execute all levels of testing System Integration and Regression
  • Design and develop automation scripts when needed
  • Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies provide timely solutions
  • Apply quality principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle with the appropriate support and documentation

    Required Skills:

  • At least 8 years experience in the field of Information Technology with emphasis on Software Testing Quality Assurance of Web/Windows based applications using Manual and Automated Testing techniques. Strong UI DB and Business Process Management testing.
  • Strong Data Analysis capabilities with experience in reviewing BRDs and Technical Specifications.
  • Ability to analyze large volumes of data via strong MS Excel proficiency pivots data comparison etc. with SQL desirable
  • Ability to write SQL queries
  • Experience in Data Validation through backend testing
  • Experience in creating test scenarios and functional testing
  • Defect management experience using JIRA
  • Strong verbal communication skills applicable for managing up and down the technology chain as well as working with business partners from multiple disciplines with differing priorities
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely
  • In depth knowledge delivering within both a Waterfall and Agile development environment
  • Ability to positively drive work forward collaborate with team members and act with transparency
  • Extensive experience in a service-oriented organization to meet the requirements of multiple stakeholders
  • Proven ability to operate within the global environment operating from multiple locations and time zones
  • Proven experience in identifying and managing the risks issues and dependencies related to large complex programs
  • Infrastructure or Product life cycle management domain knowledge will be good have
