Job Description
A Fortune 100 Financial Services client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their expanding team. This person will work within a team based agile model to deliver features and functionality for a large group of associates to help and support our customers. The team is passionate about delivering functionality that empowers associates to deliver better experiences for our customers. As a DevOps engineer you will play an important role in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. This person should have experience supporting large-scale AWS cloud applications and hands on implementation experience. You'll have the opportunity to contribute ideas to improve our products as well as develop your skills, learn new technologies and languages, and continue to learn. We're looking for highly motivated individuals who work well in a collaborative, iterative, and fast-paced environment
Required Skills & Experience
* 8-10+ years of hands-on experience deploying and/or supporting highly distributed multi-tiered systems at scale.
* Hands-on experience with container orchestration, preferably with Kubernetes.
* Experience with provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevOps and continuous delivery.
* Experience with Kubernetes, API development, golang, terraform, JenkinsCore and software version control systems, including Git, GitOps & Artifactory.
* Highly experience in automating, deploying, handling, and maintaining AWS or Azure cloud-based production systems.
* uDeploy - Experience with creating/maintaining Applications, Components, Environments, Resources. Be able to work with Dev teams to define and implement the CI/CD process using the built in uDeploy steps as well as creating custom scripts.
* Windows Server - Advanced/Expert knowledge needed for custom build/configurations/maintenance.
* Ability to automate with various scripting languages (Python, Shell scripting, etc....).
* Demonstrated ability to utilize modern monitoring tools (DataDog, Prometheus, Splunk...).
* Collaboration and Relationships - Ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups, both in person and virtually, in a constructive and collaborative manner and build and maintain effective relationships.
* Ability to triage, execute root cause analysis, and be decisive under pressure.
* Experience with Windows & Linux systems, ideally with experience in systems administration.
* Proficient communication skills with an ability to reach both technical and non-technical audience.
- Must be willing to sit onsite at the Raleigh, NC campus 3-5X per month
