Finance and Insurance Accountant

Day-to-Day:

Insight Global is looking for a Finance and Insurance Accountant for one of our large automotive companies sitting in Ballantyne, NC. This individual will be primarily responsible for the following:



-Prepare associated journal entries to ensure cancellations are properly recorded and all SOX controls are met

-Assist in reconciliation of the receivable account and payable account

-Research and resolve all questions related to finance and insurance cancellations

-Work closely with store personnel, lien holders, and other SSC teams

-Prepare Finance Reserve journal entry corrections

-Ensure all service level agreements are met

-Organize and request all warranty cancellation checks daily

-Provide input to help with project automation

-4 year degree in accounting/finance OR working experience within the field

-Experience with journal entries

-Proficient in Microsoft Excel

-Quick learner and problem solver

-Great verbal and written communication

-Previous experience working with finance and insurance cancellations

-Previous experience in a Shared Services Center and/or in the automotive industry
