Job Description

Insight Global's client is looking for a Fullstack React/Python Developer to join their fastest growing insurance client. This tech-enabled and data driven firm is rapidly expanding. In just three short years they have amassed nearly 300 employees. Currently, this company is working on developing their core insurance platform. This initiative involves re-writing and building a scalable pricing model application to help drive business. To accomplish this, they need a Fullstack Developer to help collaborate on architecture and design recommendations, guidance on best technology practices (frameworks and languages). In addition, this candidate will be collaborating with the technology delivery manager, digital product managers, and other product team members to accurately capture stakeholder requests and system specifications, translating them into high quality systems solving real business problems within the organization. As part of an agile team, they will complete complex software development work involving creative application design, coding, and debugging methods and techniques. The candidate will be working with testers, providing guidance to stakeholders, managing engineering risks, and staying up to date with new technology.

Required Skills & Experience

-4+ years of experience as a Fullstack developer

-Strong development experience with React

-Strong development experience with Python using Django framework

-Substantial experience with Azure (AWS okay)

-Prior experience working in an Agile environment

-Git

-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Snowflake or other relational databases

-Jenkins

-DevSecOps experience
