Commodity Sourcing Manager

• Own multi-year commodity strategies for direct material categories (metals, plastics, electronic components, sub-assemblies, MRO), building should-cost models that hold up against supplier pushback.
• Lead RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes and e-auction bidding events across global supply markets, qualifying suppliers on capacity, financial health, and risk through structured assessments and site audits.
• Negotiate and execute Master Supply Agreements, Long-Term Agreements, and pricing amendments, coordinating with Legal and Finance on annual price reviews and cost-down commitments.
• Run Quarterly Business Reviews and supplier scorecards tracking quality (PPM), delivery (OTD), cost, and responsiveness, and build dual-source and geographic diversification plans to close out single-source risk.
• Deliver annual cost reduction targets through value engineering, demand aggregation, and supplier consolidation, partnering with Engineering on design-for-cost decisions ahead of new product introductions.

• You've built and owned multi-year commodity strategies for direct material categories, backed by should-cost models that survive supplier pushback.
• You've negotiated complex, multi-year supply agreements and pricing amendments across global markets, including Asia-Pacific, Europe, and North America.
• You've run RFI, RFQ, and RFP processes and e-auction bidding events end to end, from supplier qualification through contract signature.
• You track supplier performance with scorecards spanning quality (PPM), delivery (OTD), and cost, and you use commodity indices (LME, CBOT) and hedging mechanisms to get ahead of pricing swings instead of reacting to them.
• You've delivered measurable annual cost reduction through value engineering, demand aggregation, or supplier consolidation, and you can show the numbers behind it.
• You've worked inside ERP and procurement platforms (SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, or equivalent) enough to run sourcing events and spend analytics without hand-holding.
• Bonus: CPSM, CSCP, or CPP certification. Familiarity with quality systems (PPAP, APQP, IATF 16949, ISO 9001) for supplier qualification. Direct materials sourcing in a hardware or hyperscale infrastructure environment.
