A client of Insight Global is seeking a Mac Engineer to join their End User Computing team. This individual will serve as the technical owner for the organization's macOS and Ubuntu endpoint platforms, responsible for engineering, administration, continuous improvement, and Level IV support. The engineer will drive platform enhancements across endpoint management, security, compliance, automation, and lifecycle management while partnering with engineering, operations, security, and support teams in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate has deep expertise supporting large-scale macOS environments, strong automation and scripting skills, and a passion for delivering secure, scalable, and exceptional end-user experiences.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience engineering and supporting a large macOS environment in a medium-to-large enterprise setting
• Strong expertise with macOS administration, troubleshooting, and endpoint management
• Experience with Jamf Pro, Apple Business Manager, automated device enrollment, and configuration profiles
• Experience managing endpoints through Microsoft Intune and Entra ID
• Strong understanding of endpoint security, compliance, vulnerability management, and software lifecycle management
• Experience with application packaging, patching, software distribution, and inventory management
• Knowledge of FileVault, conditional access, directory services, and endpoint security controls
• Experience providing Tier IV / Level 4 support and resolving complex technical incidents
• Strong scripting and automation experience utilizing Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• Experience creating technical documentation, operational standards, and knowledge articles
• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• • Ubuntu/Linux administration and endpoint management experience
• Experience supporting and scaling enterprise Linux endpoint environments
• Relevant Jamf, Apple, Microsoft, or Agile certifications
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as Citrix and VMware
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power BI, and Visio
• Experience with browsers including Safari, Chrome, and Edge in enterprise deployments
• Familiarity with Jira and ServiceNow
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and serving as a technical subject matter expert
• Experience supporting enterprise identity integrations and security initiatives
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (preferred) or equivalent professional experience
