Job Description

Insight Global's luxury retail client is seeking an Observability SME to support enterprise monitoring and observability initiatives. This individual will be responsible for accelerating telemetry onboarding, improving log collection and correlation, enhancing operational dashboards, and optimizing alerting strategies across infrastructure, endpoints, applications, and security environments. The ideal candidate has deep experience with observability platforms, data correlation, and turning operational data into actionable insights that improve visibility and reduce issue resolution times.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in Observability Engineering, Monitoring Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related field.
Hands-on experience with observability platforms such as LogicMonitor, Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk, New Relic, or similar tools.
Strong experience with log management, telemetry collection, and data correlation across multiple technology domains.
Experience building dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and alerting strategies for operational teams.
Knowledge of APIs, integrations, and data modeling to support observability and monitoring initiatives.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills in complex enterprise environments.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience supporting endpoint, network, cloud, and unified communications observability.
Scripting experience with PowerShell or Python.
Exposure to ITSM, incident management, or AIOps platforms.
