Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Epic OpTime / Anesthesia Analyst to support the design, build, optimization, and maintenance of Epic OpTime and Anesthesia applications. This individual will partner with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to enhance perioperative workflows, support ongoing system improvements, and ensure successful delivery of Epic-related initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a strong background supporting surgical services and anesthesia workflows within Epic and is capable of independently leading requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, and end-user support activities.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of Epic application analyst experience
Current Epic OpTime Certification
Current Epic Anesthesia Certification
Experience supporting and optimizing perioperative and anesthesia workflows
Hands-on experience with:
System build and configuration
Workflow analysis
Integrated testing
Go-live support
Issue resolution and troubleshooting
Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into Epic solutions
Strong understanding of clinical operations within:
Operating Room (OR)
Surgical Services
Anesthesia Departments
Experience working directly with physicians, anesthesiologists, nursing leadership, and clinical stakeholders
Knowledge of Epic upgrade processes and change management
Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
