Job Description

We are looking for a traveling Field Service Engineer 3 to join the team in Malta, NY. This person will perform on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment. They will troubleshoot equipment problems, maintain records and reports as required and coordinate activities with peers, supervisor(s) and customers to minimize equipment downtime and interruptions. They will order and installs parts, respond to emergency service calls as required and instruct customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance. They will perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

-4+ year previous experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor equipment
-Extensive electrical and mechanical aptitude
-Experience working with a multimeter - Continuity checks, voltage and amperage
-Experience working with hand tools, experience working with a torque wrench
-Familiarity with lock out tag out process

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Experience working with legacy equipment (ACT 8, 12; MARKS, LITHIUS)
-Military background
