Mechanical Packaging Engineer

We are seeking a Mechanical Packaging Engineer to support the design and development of ruggedized electronic hardware systems. This role focuses on the mechanical design, packaging, and durability of electronics in harsh environments.
Responsibilities:
• Design mechanical packaging solutions for electronic assemblies and systems
• Develop enclosures, mounting structures, and card-level packaging
• Support integration of multiple circuit card assemblies (CCAs) into system-level designs
• Perform or support thermal, vibration, and mechanical analysis
• Collaborate with electrical and systems engineers on packaging constraints
Ensure designs meet ruggedization and environmental requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Experience designing electronic packaging solutions
• Experience working with multi-CCA systems or high-density electronics assemblies
Understanding of mechanical design for rugged environments (shock, vibration, thermal)

• Experience with solder fatigue or reliability analysis
• Aerospace, defense, or ruggedized hardware experience
Familiarity with CAD tools (Creo, SolidWorks, etc.)
