Job Description

A client is looking for an Administrator who will manage and administer a school district’s Apple ecosystem, including Mac devices, iPads, and Apple Classroom, while serving as an Administrator of the JAMF platform for device configuration, policy management, and deployments. They will monitor and respond to incidents through the ServiceNow ticketing system, handling Apple-related issues and partnering closely with systems and network teams to troubleshoot more complex problems, including those involving connectivity and infrastructure. Additionally, they will support onboarding and offboarding processes, manage device lifecycle activities, and ensure all incidents, resolutions, and improvements are properly documented within ticketing systems and internal processes. This person will provide hands-on support to faculty, staff, and administrators, while also helping to prioritize work and communicate updates between the Director of Technology and the broader IT team. They will act as a liaison between management and more junior team members, and need to have the leadership skills to do so. This person should also have strong customer service skills in order to work with a wide array of end users. This person needs to be comfortable with pay in the range of $42-48/hr dependent on experience level.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience supporting Apple/Mac environments in an enterprise or education setting
Hands-on experience administering JAMF for Apple device management
Experience working within a ticketing system
Strong troubleshooting skills across macOS, hardware, and end-user issues
Fundamental knowledge of systems and networking
Strong customer service and leadership skills, with an ability to support lower-level team members

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in a K-12 or education environment
Cisco/networking knowledge, particularly related to Apple device connectivity
Experience with Apple Classroom, Apple Schoolwork, iWork Suite, and their Collaboration Tools or similar education tools
Jamf Mut Tool
Apple certifications (ACSP, ACMT, etc.)
Google Sheets formulas
