Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial/Business Analyst to support backlog reduction efforts by reviewing and validating payment data, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring outstanding items are accurately resolved. This individual will play a key role in improving data integrity and operational efficiency within billing and financial systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Review and validate large volumes of payment and billing data
• Identify and resolve missing, inaccurate, or unreviewed transactions contributing to backlog
• Analyze data within systems like Cworx to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Identify trends and recurring issues in billing/payment data
• Communicate insights clearly to non-technical teams and stakeholders
• Support backlog reduction and process improvement efforts

Required Skills & Experience
• 2–5+ years in financial analysis, business analysis, or billing operations
• Strong experience with payment reconciliation and data review
• Billing system experience preferred (e.g., Cworx)
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Utility industry experience
