Job Description
We are seeking an SAP Process Optimization Lead to drive discrete process efficiency workstreams, focusing on identifying root causes, designing digital solutions, and delivering measurable business outcomes. This role partners across SAP functional areas to streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and enable scalable, data-driven processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end process diagnostics including root cause analysis, controls/exception analysis, and value quantification
• Define and track efficiency KPIs from baseline through target state and post-implementation benefit realization
• Design and implement solutions leveraging SAP and adjacent tools, including automation for exception handling and reconciliations
• Drive workflow orchestration across teams and systems to improve process efficiency and reduce manual touchpoints
• Standardize processes through templates, governance frameworks, and best-practice operating models
• Develop role-based dashboards and reporting to enable operational performance management and visibility
• Translate business challenges into solution options with clear tradeoffs across cost, effort, risk, and time-to-value
• Partner with SAP functional teams (MM, SD, FI/CO) and integration teams to reduce process inefficiencies and manual steps
• Lead change adoption efforts including new ways of working, controls alignment, training strategies, and operational handoff.

Required Skills & Experience
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience leading process improvement, operational excellence, or transformation initiatives
• Strong understanding of SAP-enabled business processes across finance, supply chain, or order-to-cash
• Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and translate findings into actionable solutions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills
• Experience working across cross-functional teams in complex environments
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience supporting SAP or S/4HANA transformation programs
• Exposure to process automation, workflow tools, or digital transformation initiatives
• Experience defining KPIs and measuring business value realization
• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery models and change management practices
