Job Description
We are seeking an SAP Public Sector Finance Functional Analyst to support design and configuration across Budget to Authorize and Post to Report processes. This role focuses on translating public sector financial policies into scalable system designs and controls, supporting compliant budget execution and grant-funded spending.
Key Responsibilities
• Support functional design and configuration across Budget to Authorize and Post to Report workstreams
• Translate public sector financial policies and funding controls into SAP system design and configuration
• Configure and support budget controls including funds availability, spending limits, and compliance requirements
• Assist in defining and validating grant-funded spending processes and reporting structures
• Partner with cross-functional teams (FI, FM/GM, CO) to ensure alignment across financial processes
• Participate in workshops to gather requirements and validate future-state process designs
• Support testing activities including SIT/UAT and ensure traceability from requirements to execution
• Contribute to documentation including functional specs, process flows, and control frameworks

Required Skills & Experience
• Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 4–6 years of hands-on SAP functional experience in Budget to Authorize and/or Post to Report areas
• Strong understanding of public sector budget controls and grant-funded spending compliance
• Experience translating policy and regulatory requirements into system design and controls
• Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience supporting SAP public sector or S/4HANA implementations
• Exposure to Funds Management (FM) and/or Grants Management (GM)
• Experience working in regulated or government-focused environments
• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid SAP delivery methodologies
