Job Description
We are seeking an SAP Integration / Middleware Engineer to support and maintain enterprise integration platforms connecting SAP with internal and external applications. This role focuses on building, monitoring, and optimizing secure, scalable integrations while supporting modernization toward API-led and event-driven.
Key Responsibilities
• Support SAP middleware and integration layers connecting SAP with internal and external enterprise applications
• Administer APIs, secure interfaces, event-driven integrations, and message flows using SAP Integration Suite (BTP) or comparable platforms
• Design and troubleshoot interface monitoring, message traceability, retries, and error handling for business-critical integrations
• Support hybrid integration patterns across on-prem SAP, BTP, cloud applications, and third-party systems
• Ensure performance, security, and reliability of middleware platforms, especially during high transaction volumes and cutover events
• Contribute to modernization efforts from legacy point-to-point integrations to API-led and microservices-based architectures
• Support automation of interface deployment, monitoring, and operational recovery processes
• Partner with Basis, security, network, and application teams to diagnose and resolve end-to-end integration issues
• Support governance around integration standards, documentation, SLAs, and audit requirements

Required Qualifications
*Secret Cleared Clearance*
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with SAP integration technologies (e.g., SAP Integration Suite, PI/PO, or similar middleware platforms)
• Strong understanding of APIs, message-based integrations, and interface design principles
• Experience troubleshooting integration issues including message failures, data inconsistencies, and connectivity challenges
• Understanding of cloud integration patterns and hybrid architectures
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with SAP BTP and modern integration frameworks (API-led, event-driven architectures)
• Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps, or automation in integration environments
• Experience supporting high-volume enterprise integration landscapes
• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid SAP delivery models
