Job Description
We are seeking a Tivoli Operations Analyst to support day-to-day monitoring and operational activities across enterprise systems. This role focuses on alert monitoring, runbook execution, basic troubleshooting, and incident escalation, ensuring system stability and timely resolution of operational issues.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor dashboards and alert queues, perform initial triage, and create tickets with proper categorization and priority
• Execute runbook procedures including service restarts, agent checks, job reruns, and basic recovery actions within defined processes
• Validate agent health and connectivity; support basic installs and upgrades under guidance
• Maintain alert hygiene by acknowledging, closing, and ensuring accurate alert-to-ticket correlation
• Support job scheduling and batch operations by monitoring failures, rerunning jobs, validating dependencies, and communicating status
• Assist with backup operations, including verifying results, troubleshooting common failures, and supporting restore requests
• Collect and document evidence for incidents and operational activities
• Maintain knowledge articles, troubleshooting documentation, and shift handoff summaries

Required Qualifications
*Secret Cleared Clearance*
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with monitoring tools or IT operations support (Tivoli or similar platforms)
• Basic understanding of incident management and troubleshooting processes
• Familiarity with runbook-based operational support
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a high-volume operations environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Tivoli monitoring or scheduling tools
• Exposure to job scheduling, batch processing, or backup technologies
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and incident management frameworks
• Experience maintaining operational documentation or knowledge base content
