Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Broadcast Design Engineer to join a leading media organization onsite in Manhattan. This individual will play a key role in the design and rebuild of critical broadcast infrastructure, supporting high-impact control room and playback environment initiatives. This individual will support vacating and redesigning Central Equipment Rooms (CER), rebuilding two broadcast control rooms, and reconstructing the EVS/Graphics playback environment. Key Responsibilities include:
• Design and develop broadcast systems and infrastructure using AutoCAD
• Support the redesign and buildout of control rooms and playback environments
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to deliver high-quality broadcast solutions
• Contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring designs meet technical and operational requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–6 years of experience in broadcast design or engineering
• Hands-on experience with Evertz 2110 design
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, with the ability to create designs from scratch

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience working in live broadcast or media production environments
• Familiarity with control room and EVS/graphics playback system design
