Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Technical BA for one of financial services clients. On a day to day this role operates within the Compliance team, supporting enterprise initiatives while overseeing Central Compliance portal operations and ongoing business as usual work. The individual leads requirements gathering with U.S. and global stakeholders, translating regulatory and business needs into detailed BRDs and partnering closely with engineering, architecture, and offshore developers to deliver solutions, often managing and prioritizing work through Jira. Acting as a product owner for vendor applications like ComplySci, they also support business users with application troubleshooting and administrative requests. The role includes strong technical analysis, such as data analysis, writing SQL queries, and leveraging knowledge of REST APIs and system integrations to assess impacts and improve functionality. They actively participate in Agile ceremonies, refine user stories, and support QA and UAT by testing, triaging defects, and validating fixes. Additionally, they drive process improvements, ensure traceability across requirements and releases, and contribute to audits, regulatory inquiries, and broader compliance initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years as a Technical BA
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Strong technical background with the ability to analyze systems, data, and workflows
• Proficiency in working with databases, including writing, and executing SQL queries
• Strong data analysis skills with advanced proficiency in Excel
• Experience working with external vendors, including coordination with management and support teams
• Comfortable accessing Windows and Linux servers and interpreting application and system logs
• Proven analytical and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Hands on experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Agile delivery methodologies
• Clear communicator with strong written and verbal documentation skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Prior experience with compliance and governance platforms such as Comply and Cornerstone
• Familiarity with API integrations and working with technical teams on system connectivity
• Exposure to security awareness or compliance tooling such as KnowBe4
• Experience supporting compliance, legal, or regulatory technology functions
