Job Description
Senior full stack engineer to own systems end to end and build custom financial and investment applications. This role is hands-on, execution-focused, and ideal for someone who thinks systematically, reasons well, and takes real ownership of production systems. AI tools are used to accelerate development but not replace engineering judgment. Small engineering org (~10 engineers), high impact, high accountability.
What You’ll Do
• Own features or systems from design through production support
• Build and maintain custom financial/investment applications and services
• Partner with product and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
• Design, debug, and troubleshoot production systems with a logical, methodical approach
• Write clean, maintainable code with full CI/CD automation
• Clearly explain technical decisions, tradeoffs, and SQL/data issues

Required Skills & Experience
• 5–8+ years full stack experience (open to more FE or BE)
• Extensive hands-on, full-stack development experience with Python, Java, OR C# (must be open to learning Python)
• Strong AI experience for development using tools like Cursor and GitHub Copilot
• Has owned a system, product, or major feature set end to end
• SQL skills; able to articulate query and data issues
• Comes from financial background or major tech giants
• Thinks logically and systematically about design and debugging
