Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Attorney to join our litigation team. The
ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of hands-on matrimonial and family law experience, thrives under
pressure, and is ready to hit the ground running in a high-volume practice. This is a full-time, inperson position requiring a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage an active caseload of matrimonial and family law matters, including divorce,
custody, support, equitable distribution, and orders of protection
• Appear in court independently for conferences, motions, hearings, and trials
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, orders, stipulations, agreements, and correspondence
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda of law
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Collaborate with firm attorneys and support staff on complex matters
• Meet billing and productivity requirements in a fast-paced environment

Required Skills & Experience
• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar (required)
• 3–5 years of litigation experience in matrimonial and/or family law
• Demonstrated courtroom experience, including motion practice and hearings
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents and correspondence
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
