A partner of Insight Global is seeking a Lead Data Architect to define and drive the enterprise data strategy for a large, global organization. This individual will own the design, governance, and evolution of modern data architectures that enable analytics, AI, and data‑driven decision making across the business.
This role partners closely with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to ensure data platforms are scalable, secure, and aligned to long‑term business goals. The ideal candidate brings deep hands‑on technical expertise, strong architectural vision, and a passion for mentoring and leading high‑performing data teams.

Required Skills & Experience
-10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise data platforms
-Proven experience designing large‑scale, enterprise data architectures
-Strong hands‑on experience with modern data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift)
-Deep knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and distributed databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.)
-Experience architecting cloud‑based data solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP
-Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data pipeline optimization
-Experience with tools such as dbt, Apache Airflow, Informatica, or similar
-Knowledge of real‑time data streaming (Kafka, Spark Streaming, Flink, Kinesis)
-Strong experience with data governance, security, privacy, and compliance frameworks
-Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior leadership and business stakeholders
-Experience leading, mentoring, and influencing technical teams
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Collibra, Alation, or enterprise data catalog tools
Familiarity with healthcare data environments and regulated datasets
Strong Python skills (Pandas, PySpark, NumPy, SQLAlchemy)
Experience supporting AI/ML analytics architectures and MLOps frameworks (MLflow, SageMaker)
Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Knowledge of graph databases or knowledge graphs (Neo4j, Amazon Neptune)
Cloud or data platform certifications (AWS, GCP, Databricks)
Master’s degree in a related technical field
