Job Description

One of Insight Global's large banking clients is seeking a Financial Advisor Associate for a full-time role in Hauppauge, NY. The Financial Advisor Associate (FAA) role works with prospects and clients to attract and retain clients by addressing their wealth management advisory needs. The FAA will meet with prospects and clients to analyze their financial information, including income, cash flow, assets and liabilities, analyze and understand their short and long term financial goals, educate and advise prospects and clients regarding investment and insurance strategies and products, and recommend personalized/tailored investment and insurance strategies and products to meet their financial and wealth creation objectives.  The FAA will grow and manage their client base by building strong relationships, coaching retail staff to generate referrals within an assigned territory, and collaborating with key partners to identify enterprise opportunities.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Acts as the primary financial advisor for TD Wealth clients, delivering personalized wealth management, investment, insurance, and financial planning guidance.
- Builds, manages, and retains client relationships through proactive communication, ongoing consultation, annual reviews, and a high‑touch client experience.
- Grows the business by acquiring new clients, deepening wallet share, meeting performance objectives, and identifying referral and cross‑enterprise opportunities.
- Leads the end‑to‑end client onboarding process, including discovery, financial needs analysis, documentation, and ongoing account servicing.
- Collaborates with and educates Retail and Small Business partners to generate referrals and transition clients to appropriate Wealth or HNW solutions.
- Ensures full compliance with regulatory requirements, firm policies, AML/CIP standards, and continuing education while contributing positively to team culture and community initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree (strongly preferred)
- SIE, Series 7 required
- Active L&H certification and Series 66 (or equivalent) or must obtain all within the Licensing and Registration Schedule Self-directed upon hire
- Possesses comprehensive knowledge of wealth products and services, consultative sales skills and business‑development acumen to effectively serve retail and small‑business banking clients.
- Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and time‑management skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships and relationships across departments.
- Able to travel and commute daily within the assigned market to meet prospects, clients, and internal partners, maintaining a consistent presence in the field five days a week.
