Job Description
This role leads the end‑to‑end transition of a critical healthcare operations function from a legacy vendor to a new strategic partner. Acting as the central coordinator across clinical, technical, compliance, and vendor teams, the role ensures a seamless cutover with no disruption to member care or provider workflows. Responsibilities include overseeing implementation and go‑live, solving complex technical and operational issues (including HIPAA transactions and system integrations), managing risk and continuity planning, optimizing workflows, and communicating clear decision points and progress updates to senior stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience
Experience: 5+ years leading complex initiatives in healthcare or other regulated environments, including vendor or platform transitions.
Operational Knowledge: Hands‑on experience with authorization, benefits, or utilization‑related operational workflows.
Technical Understanding: Experience working with technical teams on system integrations and data exchange; able to translate operational needs into technical requirements.
Project Execution: Proven ability to deliver cross‑functional projects with external partners under regulatory or time‑sensitive constraints.
Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify operational gaps, edge cases, and risk prior to implementation.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Certifications: Project or process improvement certification preferred (e.g., PMP, Lean, Six Sigma).
Systems Experience: Experience working with healthcare operations platforms, workflow management tools, or enterprise systems used to support utilization, claims, or care management processes.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare accreditation standards and utilization review requirements at the state or national level.
