Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager to join the External Manufacturing team of a large Pharmaceutical company. The Project Manager independently leads complex, high‑visibility projects within the EM Strategy & Operational Excellence portfolio. This role requires a seasoned project leader who can operate with minimal oversight, drive clarity in ambiguous environments, and influence cross‑functional stakeholders to achieve critical program outcomes. The PM proactively anticipates risks, accelerates decision‑making, and ensures transparent communication across all levels of the organization.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Lead and execute multiple external manufacturing projects; build and manage project plans, roadmaps, and reporting
-Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and escalate issues with clear recommendations
-Apply structured thinking, scenario planning, and data‑driven decision‑making
-Coordinate across EM, QA, QC, MSAT, Supply Chain, and external partners
-Drive cross‑functional alignment through effective meetings, clear agendas, and follow‑through
-Build strong relationships with leaders, SMEs, and CMOs to influence outcomes
-Maintain planning tools, shared databases, and standardized processes
-Improve program efficiency, data integrity, and execution discipline
-Deliver concise leadership updates: summaries, risk logs, dashboards, and briefs
-Communicate clearly and proactively, translating complex information for diverse audiences

Required Skills & Experience
-6–10+ years of project management experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated operations environment.
-Experience leading complex cross-functional efforts with minimal oversight.
-Project management expertise: planning, scheduling, resource management, risk and issue tracking, governance
-Advanced proficiency with Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams
-Strong communication skills with ability to influence, negotiate, and align cross‑functional teams
-Effective in ambiguity; anticipates issues and drives proactive solutions
-Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
-Operates independently with sound judgment and consistent, high‑quality delivery
-Bachelor’s degree in a physical or biological science
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred
-PMP, CAPM, or other project management certification a plus.
