Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Project Operations Specialist to join the External Manufacturing Center of Excellence of a large Pharmaceutical company. executes tasks related to project data monitoring, data reporting, and project portfolio management (PPM) system implementation. The Project Operations Specialist works independently to collect and report project data and works alongside management to design PPM templates, prepare project data for transfer into new PPM systems, and drive PPM systems alignment and usage across the EM department. Key Responsibilities
include:
-Project Data Monitoring & Reporting
-Oversee the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of project data across the EM department
-Ensure that project data is updated in a timely and efficient manner as project plans change and develop
-Design project data reports and dashboards
o Facilitate data reviews with EM project managers as needed
-Technology Implementation
-Assist EM CoE management in creating, adjusting, and publishing PPM project templates as needed
-Prepare project data for implementation into PPM system
-Facilitate PPM training for EM representatives and key stakeholders
-Monitor PPM system usage across EM department

Required Skills & Experience

-Between 1-2 years of relevant work experience
-Proficiency with Excel, MS Project, MS PowerApps, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams
-Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of balancing multiple strategic priorities in a dynamic environment.
-Exceptional communication skills: able to influence, negotiate, and drive alignment across cross‑functional teams.
-Operates independently when required, exercises sound judgment and consistently delivers high‑quality work
-Bachelor's degree in communications, computer science, business, or physical/biological science; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Project management experience a plus
