Job Description

The SQL Developer will step into an established technical environment and support existing data processes and workflows. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL scripts while working within current databases, tables, and views that feed into the group's reporting and automation infrastructure. The position includes performing select database administration (DBA) tasks to support internal teams and customers, ensuring data reliability and performance. Additionally, the SQL Developer may contribute to future enhancements, including potential implementations involving data lakes and Global Platform Datastores (GPDs), as business and technical needs evolve.

Required Skills & Experience

- 4-8 years of experience in a similar role/environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, IT, or related fields
- Previous experience working cross functionally and supporting end customers
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong experience with writing SQL queries

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Oracle experience
- Previous experience in the utility industry
