Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and service-oriented Senior Building Coordinator to oversee day-to-day facilities operations across a multi-floor corporate office in Midtown Manhattan. This role blends technical expertise with a hospitality mindset to ensure a seamless and welcoming workplace experience.

Key Responsibilities
Daily Facilities Oversight
Respond to service requests via Service Channel, assessing whether tasks require vendor support or can be handled in-house.
Manage small projects such as millwork installations, cable routing, and electrical upgrades.
Event & Office Support
Assist with event setup and breakdown.
Support snack stocking and lunch coordination when needed (this is someone else's main role)
Help assign seating and coordinate employee moves.
Escort vendors (e.g., exterminators, electricians) and partner on vendor management.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Collaborate with building engineers, plumbers, and HVAC contractors as needed to schedule maintenance activity.
Communication & Coordination
Partner with the office coordinator and facilities lead to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor shared facilities mailbox and respond to inquiries.
Support internal communications related to facilities
updates.
Monitor HVAC and UPS battery systems monthly.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience in office programs (outlook, powerpoint, excel, microsoft suite, google calendars)
Proven experience in building operations or facilities, ideally in a corporate or hospitality setting.
Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
Self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision and takes initiative.
General knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Familiarity with Service Channel or similar work order platforms.
