Job Description

Insight Global is seeking two Financial Analyst to join the Post-Award Grant Finance team supporting a leading Research Organization. This team is responsible for managing awarded funding from a variety of sources including federal, state, and foundation sponsors, and ensuring accurate invoicing, booking, and financial tracking for ongoing clinical trials. This individual will play a critical role in supporting researchers by managing post-award financial activities, maintaining compliance with research and sponsor guidelines, and acting as a key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders. Day to day this individual would be responsible for reviewing and checking over documents to ensure accuracy. The ideal candidate brings strong financial analysis experience, advanced Excel capabilities, and exceptional communication and customer service skills to effectively manage sponsor expectations and support trial success. This role requires the ability to hit the ground running with minimal training, demonstrate strong initiative, attention to detail and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced research environment. The candidate must be local to NYC, with the ability to be onsite daily five times a week, Monday through Friday in midtown.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years' experience as a Data Analyst or Financial Analyst. Great experience with Excel i.e., pivot tables. Excellent communication skills and customer service skills -Soft skills. Excellent time management skills and analytical thinking. Experience managing communication with stakeholders, both internal and external.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Finance degree. Post award or pre-award research experience
Experience with Peoplesoft or another financial system to monitor transactions
