Position Summary:
The Architectural Project Manager (PM) is responsible for leading and coordinating all phases of architectural projects. This role requires a balance of design leadership, technical expertise, client management, and team coordination within a multidisciplinary environment. The Project Manager ensures that project goals for quality, schedule, and budget are achieved while maintaining compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
The Architectural PM serves as the primary point of contact between the client, internal design teams, consultants, and contractors. They oversee project workflows, manage resources, and facilitate communication across disciplines to deliver integrated, high-performing solutions. This position requires strong organizational and leadership skills, a thorough understanding of architectural practice, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

- Provide technical and design leadership for interdisciplinary project teams, ensuring coordination among architecture, engineering, and specialty disciplines to achieve integrated, high-quality design solutions.
- Develop, maintain, and strengthen client relationships; manage project communications, contracts, and deliverables to ensure alignment with client goals, budgets, and expectations.
- Support business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities, contributing to proposals and presentations, and helping expand the firm’s presence in emerging markets and sectors.
- Manage the financial performance of multiple projects, including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and monitoring of project profitability and resource utilization.
Mentor and support junior and mid-level professionals, fostering professional growth, teamwork, and a collaborative design culture.
- Contribute to firm leadership by providing input on design quality, project delivery processes, and continuous improvement of professional, technical, and business practices.
- Conduct all project activities in accordance with internal quality management procedures, applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Pursue continuous professional development and remain current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance project delivery and design innovation.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to health and safety policies and promptly reporting all incidents or concerns in the office and on project sites.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support firm and project objectives.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or related field.
- Twelve or more (12+) years of experience working in the design/construction field, with a minimum of five (5) years in project management.
- New York State Architectural License
- Active and clear driver’s license, including a successful
- clearance of a Motor Vehicle history check.
