Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer with strong network automation experience to design, implement, and automate enterprise network infrastructure. This role will focus on automating Layer 2 and Layer 3 network services, including VLAN creation, VRF provisioning, routing, and BGP configurations, using Ansible and/or NetBrain.
The ideal candidate combines deep traditional networking expertise with a modern automation mindset, capable of translating manual network processes into reliable, repeatable automation workflows. This engineer will work closely with architecture, operations, and application teams to improve network consistency, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise or service provider environments
Strong hands‑on experience with:
Layer 2 technologies (VLANs, trunking, spanning tree)
Layer 3 technologies (routing, VRFs, inter‑VRF routing)
BGP (peering, route policies, filtering, redistribution)
Proven experience with network automation using Ansible and/or NetBrain [Sr Network...er - Billy | Word]
Ability to write, test, and maintain automation scripts/playbooks
Solid understanding of network design principles and operational best practices
Experience working in multi‑vendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, etc.)
Strong troubleshooting skills across both network and automation layers
Experience with version control (Git or similar) and structured change workflows
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams
