Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Team Lead of Application Developer to join an innovative international law firm client. This individual will be responsible for serving as the technical team lead for the application development team and functions as a lead architect and developer on key custom application projects. The firm is looking for a forward-thinking developer who has modernized their approach to software development by leveraging AI-assisted coding tools and intelligent development environments, and will be able to utilize platforms such as Databricks Assistant, Snowflake Copilot, Vibe Coding, Cursor, Anthropic Code, GitHub Copilot, Tabnine, and Sourcegraph Cody to enhance productivity, quality, and collaboration across both front-end and back-end development initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Guiding the team on technology matters, including architectural design, AI-assisted code development, and code reviews.
• Applying AI development tools and other intelligent assistants to accelerate development, refactoring, and testing.
• Leading the adoption of AI-powered workflows to streamline project delivery and improve code reliability and maintainability.
• Assisting with the team’s day-to-day activities, including task assignment, progress monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Ensuring that team members work cohesively, efficiently, and in alignment with firm development standards.
• Demonstrated experience managing all phases of the software development life cycle.
• Promoting best practices in secure, ethical, and responsible use of AI tools within the software engineering process.
This is a full-time position that can sit fully remote in the US (preferably in EST time zone).
Compensation
$195k-$210k base salary
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, level of experience, geographic location, education, and consideration of internal equity.

Required Skills & Experience
• 10 years of experience programming web applications and services across all software development phases – requirements, design, implementation, QA, release, and maintenance
• At least 3 years of experience leading development teams at tech-forward companies with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility for code quality and adherence to best practices
• Proven experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT/OpenAI, Databricks Assistant, Snowflake Copilot/Cortex, Cursor, Tabnine, Sourcegraph Cody) and responsibly integrating AI-generated code into enterprise applications
• Strong hands-on development experience with the .NET stack including C#, ASP.NET, Web API, MVC, and modern front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, REST APIs)
• Experience building modern, responsive web applications, including Angular 16+, jQuery Mobile, and responsive design principles
• Solid understanding of data access and ORM technologies, including Entity Data Model, LINQ, and Dapper
• Experience developing and deploying cloud-native applications, including containerization and orchestration with Kubernetes
• Proven experience building and supporting full-text search solutions (e.g., Elasticsearch or Apache Solr); Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or VBScript
• Advanced SQL Server (2019+) expertise, including complex stored procedures, triggers, views, data modeling, and performance optimization
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and Team Foundation Server (Azure DevOps)
• Exposure with SharePoint Online
• Familiarity with AI-driven UI/UX tools such as UXPilot or Figma
